Magi was created by a young woman at a young age named Ginger Morinaga. She started as an imaginary friend to help her cope with her growing social anxiety and agoraphobia. Slowly but surely, she was taken out of school and on her days off from home schooling, developing Magi.

This was a passion project and consumed most of her time. And Morinaga found herself going out of her room less and less until she had gotten her own home and a temp job at a work from home tech company. She took her love and knowledge of coding and made her character come to life, providing her with her own voice.

No one knows that she herself is the voice provider, as it is highly digitized when singing and talking. She can now work comfortably from home and continue to live through her creation vicariously. Of course, now Magi has taken on a life of her own and hopes to become an internet idol like the popular vocal synths of the times.

Taking on different personas for different musical pieces, Magi is a blank slate. Outside of her performance, she is a kind and shy individual. Being as tall as her creator, she gets stares and this causes her to become self conscious. But, she has the confidence to go out in the digital world and hopefully warm the hearts of those who cast their gazes upon her.
